I have been playing on Android phone, no problems. Today, installed app on another device, and the files were not synced. My original saves showed different locations and different difficulty levels. On my original device, I had deleted a game at EASY and created a game at NORMAL. On the new device, the game was still at EASY.

I have been connected all the time with both devices. Other than this, no issues.

Maybe you are using different Google Play or Google accounts. Sync works well on my devices. I've played on one device and then installed the game on another device. Savegame files were downloaded after connection to Google Play on the second device without any problems
